"And slowly she approaches her unsuspecting prey." soft vocal came from her jaws as she moved through the tall grass. Anybody with eyes that was pay attention would be able to see her. An ivory body which supported a golden mane all the way down to her tail swayed in the wind blowing. She paused pushing herself up on her back legs to just barely able to see the tops of her surroundings. With a quick sniff to the air, she bounded forward causing a small patch of moths to fly up in the morning air. A giggle left her as she watched them. What new creatures would she see today? She hadn't seen her brother's and sisters of the other areas as of lately. They were probably all being to caught up in protecting their own domains. They needed to lighten up. Have some fun. Golden tipped tail flicked above the grass and then she paused catching the scent of something interesting.

"Oh what's this? I hope it's a new friend!" she spoke turning her direction to head for the scent she had caught. It had been quite a while since she last so someone else anyway. As she neared closer to the being she stopped and then spoke out quite loudly showing her entergetic nature. "Good morning! I haven't had anybody to talk to in quite a while!"

The forest was quiet today.
It was a comfortable silence, calm, like the world was had taken in a deep breath and now was letting it out in a gentle sigh. The sky was calm and sunny, with light that danced downwards through the leafy boughs of the trees above the wolf's head. Birds quietly conversated back and forth in a million different dialects, keeping the forest atmosphere light and musical. A lazy pool runoff from a river glinted in the sunlight, and the single female wolf paused at it, sniffing warrily before allowing herself to lap up a little, soothing a thirst that had baked her throat from travelling. Water dripped from her muzzle when she was finished, sending ripples across the clear pool at her feet. Her reflection peered back curiously towards her, a cream color female with soft bi colored eyes. Her large ears perked slightly, then relaxed.

How pathetic was it that she found some comfort in any other animal to the point where she'd even appreciate her own reflection? Quinn, the lone female sniffed at the pool and turned away, listening for a moment to animals scurrying around her. She would give no chase to any of them now- everything was too peaceful for that. Instead she continued on through the trails of the forest floor, brushing against bushes and trees, the thickness of it all like a protective barrier to any foes. She had smelled them several times already- other wolves, packs more specifically. Groups she didn't want to encounter, lest they think of her as a threat. Coming upon another scent, the strong markings of an unknown, she abruptly turned in the opposite way at a trot, her ears perked high.

She had survived thus far, and had no intentions to contradict that fact. Her tail swayed behind her as she trotted along the side of the lands. she was curious yet she wasnt, she wanted to know but there was that voice in the back of her head that said stay still. Dark brown ears folded back as she slowed her pace. Wings were tightly tucked agasint the female's body were ready to open to take her into the air for safety. Quinn had been tought how to fly by herself as well as watching other winged creatures fly. The brown and tan female lowered her frame down to the ground as the sound of feet hitting the ground got louder. Great she thought as her eyes darted around

It was when there was a voice hit her ears. Bi colored eyes went wide as she watched a massive beast appeared just before her. Her entire body hit the ground as she whinned. Quinn didnt want to move, she was scared. There was a massive beast that was before her was now speaking to her. But she knew that she couldnt speak back. Which only ment she would have to deal with this creature tossing questions at her and making her feel overwhelmed

Lightly pink tipped ears flattened as she gazed upon the winged wolf. Curses. She always forgot about her size. "Oh, I didn't mean to frighten you, little one." she spoke stepping back. She was used to always having to make up her size to the other guardians. After all, she was the smallest of the six. When it came to other creature's, she forgot not to look intimidating. She lowered her body even more so to the ground. "Terribly sorry. It's not everyday we dragons get to see other creatures such as yourself." she spoke to the female now. Hoping she'd forgive her. "Don't worry, I won't eat you." she smirked tail waving slightly amused. "I protect those in need actually. Its something my siblings and I do." Light blue orbs shone brightly in the morning light.

She looked the female over, "You're not hurt are you? You don't seem like you're hurt. If you are, I can help. I know good remedies to help healing." She nodded to herself with a bright smile then she blinked before saying "Oh! Hehe I;ve forgotten to introduce myself. My name's Yinlian, Guardian of light. And...I probably wasn't supposed to tell you that last part. Not a lot of creatures get to see us. Oh well. You don't look like you'd tell a secret." She gazed back to Quinn then tilted her head before saying "Umm you don't talk much...do you, hun?"

Quinn watched the dragon that was before her with careful eyes. Never had she came across such a beast, tho she had been told about such creatures by the loners or even passerbyers. Her ears flicked on her head as she listened to the female talk. She seemed to talk alot, which was something Quinn wasnt quite used to. Specially since most wolves that came up to her only asked why she didnt speak or if there was something wrong with her. Quinn lowered her head down to the ground as she sighed some. Some days she wished that she could speak but then there were other times when her silence was bliss. Blue and Magenta eyes watched the dragon as she lowered her body down to the ground.

Something was different, this creature was attempting to not look so intimidating. It seemed as if she wanted to help her not feel so scared. It was when she spoke about her not talking. Quinn turned her head slightly as she let out a very odd squeak noise. I can not speak. Her gaze turned back to the creature. Now she only hoped that she wouldnt freak out and ask questions about how she did what she did. Quinn had learned how to speak to someone threw her telepathy. She folded her ears down agasint her tan head as she looked down at the ground. How on earth would she deal with such things. Tho Quinn had notice that the creature before her now known as Yinlian had put on a freinly smile. Something that she wasnt used to, at least not from a stranger.

Quinn only wished that she had someone that she could rely on to make her feel better, to help her become something stronger. Her feathered wings untucked slightly as she streached them out. Keeping them tucked in tightly was draining to her, specially since most of the time she had her wings slightly flared out. Oddly enough her wings where slightly to big for her own body.

She was the most talkative of her dragon siblings. Which they didn't mind, they knew she had a bright personality and always showed it. Ears stood out as the female made an odd squeak noise but her words resonated within her own mind. "Oh, I'm sorry hun." she apologized before saying "Well you still have an adorable voice." She smiled kindly down to her as she found her lowering her head to the ground. The dragoness tilted her head before saying "You should be proud, hun. Telepathy is no easy feat for beginners." She could see that Quinn was still wary of her and wanted to make the situation better.

Light blue orbs watched her untuck her wings and she smirked "And you have wings. Not a lot of wolves have such beautiful appendages." She stood up again being careful not scare the female again. "Even I don't have such." she said looking into the brightening sky and watching a couple birds fly across the area. "But they don't call me the guardian of Light for nothing." she whispered looking into the grass, focusing on some water droplets and the light shining on them, causing a rainbow to shift between the blades of grass. "See. we all do things differently, " she said before looking back to the female. "But that's what makes us special and unique." Using her tail tip, she gently waved it under the female's chin to lift her head. "Do you have a name, hun?" she asked.
