This massive expanse of coast line, is frozen and unforgiving. It's waters deep and dark from their frigid depths. If one were to fall from the frozen cliffs of the coastline, one would be best to send their last prayers to their gods. As falling from the cliffs here is near certain death.
This is known as the coldest place in Mendoza. The land is unforgiving with harsh cold winds, the lands here are nothing but ice. Many frozen ponds can be found here as the ground is frozen to hard for water to absorb. Here there are no trees, there are no plants. All you find here is ice and snow.
This massive mountain is shaped much like a horses hoof looking as if the the top of the mountain had been cut off with a blade. The snowy summit of this mountain is far from treacherous though it guards the borders to the frigid northern tundra, and the evergreen forests barely south of its slopes.
This massive evergreen forest forest is filled with towering redwoods and fir trees, untouched by hands of time. These trees tell the stories of Mendoza and how the very mountains were formed. The air here is frigid, the days being long and cold. The ground is ever covered in a thick layer of permafrost. Few berry baring bushes and lichen find their homes here.
This large expanse holds few trees, many norther grasses. Here you can find many grazing animals of the north, with long winters and short summers this, area can at times be unforgiving, but to many animals it is home in the north.
This land was in centuries past a mountainous terrain, but over many years of weather. The mountains have been weather down to at best large hills. Many of the hills here have been hollowed by animals over time to act as large thermal dens to keep them warm in winter and cool in the short summers here.
