[attr="class","sinnert"]The evening was cool as the sun had long since set. Though several day dwelling creatures still milled about in the safety of the sanctuary. One creature, a petite ebony colored canine baring colorful glowing markings tended to many of the plants that grew were growing within the sanctuary. Though normally cheerful and happy when tending such things, this poor creature’s ears drooped, and her crown hung low. Her elegant banner dragging listlessly behind her on the ground.

She was filled with a feeling she didn’t like. A feeling she detested with every fiber of who she was. She was lonely. Baghiera had disappeared, Ares and Sjofn were gone as well. She was alone again. Of course, she had found a new place to call home and to tend to, but she was lonely. A soft sniffle left the little creature as she plucked a flower stem and all and lay it down nearby pile of assorted herbs and flowers. She hated being alone, it was always then that bad things happened to her. That was how she had ended up in the clutches of Morro.

Though she was sure that within the wooded walls of the sanctuary she would be safe. It was a strange place with magic and she knew it, that was what had drawn her to the place to begin with. But even surrounded by woodland friends, she was still lonely. She missed her friend and she missed her family. She wanted them all to be together and happy. But as the fates would seem to have it. This just wasn’t going to happen.

All of these thoughts kept running through the little lady’s mind as she continued to selectively pluck plants from around the area near her. A soft sigh left the little creature as she gathered a mouthful of the gathered plants and was beginning to head back towards the massive redwood tree, when her cobalt lined audits shot up at a sound. She caught the sound of a loud crash followed by a pained yelp not far on the other side of the wooded wall of the sanctuary.

Gently she placed the plants back in the pile, satisfied that they weren’t going anywhere the little lady took off as fast as her slender legs could carry her. Ducking out of the hidden opening in the wooded wall the little lady came upon the tangled yet familiar form. The deep onyx black, those vibrant greens melding with the forest greens. There was no mistaking it. Stopping a ways off the little lady stood still, unable to move. He had disappeared, why was he back now? How had he found her? They weren’t even in the same realm as they had been.

Why was he here? Why now after all these months had he returned? The little lady stood silently still staring at the tangled form of Nox unable to bring herself to speak. The last time she had seen him, she had to heal his wing and his sister’s leg. Then they had both vanished. The little lady couldn’t bring herself to move or speak, as she stood staring at the winged man.

[attr="class","sinnert"]As the little approached the noises coming from the forest, a deep growl caught her soft cobalt lined audits, causing her to pause for a moment in her tracks. Though if they were injured of course they would be defensive, they wouldn’t want someone taking advantage of that situation. Slowing her pace, the little lady approached the area cautiously.

When she happened upon the form, slender cobalt treads refused to move. They held her in place. She found herself staring at the form of the man whom had almost captured her heart. She watched the man carefully as he took in =the scents around them. Why was worried? Did he think there was anyone else around? She was alone. Painfully alone. Her friend, dear dear friend was missing, her grandchild and her mate were gone. Now why was he here of all the times?

Amethyst gems watched as the man got closer slowly lowering himself down to her height. As she watched unable to move, slender legs quivered with the effort of her trying to move. He had left. She didn’t want to be close to him. He had broken his promise to always come back. He had left her, he hadn’t even given her a reason just vanished.

Cobalt lined audits shot forward as the man let out a soft whine, then spoke her name. The little lady swallowed a lump that had formed in her throat, his words seeming to finally unlock her legs as she backed away a few steps. Her haunches falling to the ground as her lengthy banner wrapped protectively around her body the end wrapping behind her shoulders the purple tip landing on her chest. “N-Nox, I, You.” The little lady tripped over her own words seeming unable to speak. As the man attempted to lick her nose she withdrew farther. “You left me Nox. You promised.” Was all she managed to actually say as her gaze feel to the ground, a soft sniffle leaving the little lady as large tears began to form in her eyes.
