Illumination - Predator

[attr="class","sinnert"]The sun was slowly sinking beyond the horizon, the moon already making its journey through the dimming sky. The brilliant songs of birds finding their nests for the night among the trees filled the air with its chorus. Many creatures were beginning to find their homes for the nights rest, while others were beginning to wake for the night. To begin their lives among the stars. A soft spring breeze rustled the tall red wood trees as they passed through the forest, cooling the evening air. For spring the night was chilly but still beautiful and filled with a vibrant life.

Among the nightlife one such creature was stirring within her den. A small ebony pelted creature with vibrant glowing marking. This little creature gave a small yawn as its canine like jaws parted and amethyst gems blinked softly, to clear the sleep. As the little lady slowly stood she gave a deep stretch and looked out of her den. The caves of the sanctuary were always lit by a soft warm glow. It was always such welcoming feeling when she was here. Without anything else to do the little lady began to make her rounds of the smaller dens filled with injured or sick prey animals she had come across. walking into one such den the little lady gave a warm smile to a large lump resting on a pile of grasses.

"Goodevening little friend, its time for a check up." The little lady cooed softly the sleeping creature whom stirred slightly with a grunt. Wriggling the little grey form uncurled to show a small rabbit with broken foreleg. The little rabbit seemed usually calm around the small little wolf whom approach it. "There we are, lets have a look at that leg." The little lady prompted softly as she leaned down to inspect the leg gently with both her paws and nose. "AH that's healing very nicely, I'm so glad." She breathed a sigh of relief having been worried that the rabbit was going to lose the leg. Having done her rounds here she left the den to let the rabbit rest as she move onto her nightly duties with the rest of her charges.
