The Price of a Prince{AW}

Thick cedar and spruce forests grew tall all around in the bright spring sunlight. The close growing trees forbid much light from reaching the ground, though some grasses and berry baring bushes grew near the base of tree trunks. The chorus of bird song filled the forest, while a soft breeze rustled through the trees and bushes, stirring up a soft warm scent from the trees. In all one couldn’t complain about how lovely of a spring day it was.

The soft thud of hooves on dirt could be heard mixing with the sounds of the forest. A soft snort joined the sounds as a rather large beast moved through the trees. He was tall and built with thick muscles covering his body, with a soft tan body and deep chestnut mane and tail. Chestnut socks wrapped this creature’s sturdy powerful legs. Intelligent azure optics watched the land with a deep curiosity.

The creature’s slender neck dipped as he lowered his head to the ground. Softly he snuffled the grasses, the creature began to graze peacefully on the sweet spring grasses. He was alone but he was alright with this fact, though he still sought out a place of his own to belong once more, after all that was why he traveled.
